A Field Engineer is a professional who works directly on the project site, performing a wide range of technical activities. The primary responsibilities include managing the site, supervising the installation and maintenance of equipment, planning activities, and collaborating with the project team, ensuring all operations are safe and compliant with regulations.

Main Duties

  1. Site Management: Coordinating daily activities and supervising on-site work.
  2. Installation and Maintenance: Verifying and overseeing the proper installation of equipment and performing periodic maintenance.
  3. Data Collection and Analysis: Conducting tests and measurements, analyzing results, and providing feedback to the team.
  4. Workplace Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations during all project phases.
  5. Documentation: Managing technical documentation and progress reports.

  1. Industrial Plants: Designing, installing, and maintaining automation, electrical, and electronic systems.
  2. Oil & Gas: Managing extraction, refining, and storage facilities for oil and gas.
  3. Automation: Implementing and maintaining industrial automation systems, such as robots and numerical control systems.
  4. Infrastructure: Constructing and maintaining roads, bridges, railways, airports, and aqueducts.

Required Skills

  • Education: Degree in engineering or related fields, with possible exceptions for technical diplomas depending on company needs.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of technologies and regulations specific to the industry.
